I cud not see any thing glorious abt it. It is shameless/ obsessive disorder, possessiveness collection of valuables while country underwent crisis after crises from earthquake, tsunami, floods, poverty, undernourished children, unattended patients,slavery, hunger etc etc these things were stored meaninglessly. 

I pity on those fools who thought donating to sick person owning temple is greater then doing work for charity/ humanity. Only fools donate in such volumes to temples for storing. Show me any one line in any scriptures/ shastras where this is encouraged.
